Annie Duke Takes Center Stage for Online Poker Discussions in Washington

UB poker pro Annie Duke was in Washington earlier this month to testify before the House Judiciary Committee hearing on online gaming.

“I was honored to be able to represent the millions of poker players who enjoy playing poker on the internet,” stated Duke in an online chat on the WashingtonPost.com website. “We made some excellent points but there is still a lot of work to do.”

Duke was speaking on behalf of The Poker Players Alliance, a nonprofit membership organization comprised of poker players and enthusiasts from around the United States who have joined together to speak with one voice to promote the game and ensure its integrity.

Countless UB.com players have joined the PPA to ensure that their voices are heard and that their rights are protected. The popular online poker website remains open to US players.
