+Lucy Writes a Resume
Well, it has been a long time. I have finished the WSOP and been to Hawaii with the kids (which was amazing!). I have been doing Bikram every day and generally just have been really busy which is why my blog has suffered. I guess something has to give but I am back to it now! The big news around the Duke household was tht Lucy lost her job feeding the dogs in the mornings because she neglected them by watching cartoons instead. So Leo was giventhe job temporarily. Lucy really wanted the job back so we told her she had to put in an application just like in the real world. It is pretty awesome so here it is (complete with her spelling choices!):
I am Lucy J. Duke. I am interveiwing for feeding the dogs. I have fed dogs before. I’ve fed Carmen, Amber, Aticas, Yoda, and Girtee (they’re nice dogs but sometimes hard to work with when they jump on the counter or try to eat out of another’s bowl). For a school I go to XXX. It’s a private school for everyone Juish, Christian, Mormom, white, black whatever they are. I think it’s a pretty good school. They teach me more than children at other schools from what I’ve heard.
I was fired from my previous job because I forgot to feed them and instead watched tv. I will be better this time. I’ve learned my lesson from sitting around with no money when there is a spa next door. (It’s hard being me). We’ve done a science project in school and I picked the arctic wolf witch is very close to the dog and I leanred all about it what its bones are, what it does, what food it eats and all.

Needless to say she will be getting the job! I think my daughter is pretty awesome!
Update: Lucy interviewed for the job and will be doing a trial day tomorrow. If she does well she will get the job!
Also, I wanted to explain that we don’t have a spa next store. Nelly started a spa to try to earn money and Nelly’s room is next to Lucy’s. Lucy has been bummed because she hasn’t been able to take advantage of any of Nelly’s spa services since she has no money after losing her job.
