Hi Annie,

This is unrelated to the comments that others are leaving in regards to the show. I just wanted to let you know that I just finished reading your book, and lived vicariously thru your recollection of your 2004 Tournament experience. I was so excited to hear how the story would progress, that I read the "tournament parts" of the book first, and then went back and read your life's story. (I'm so impatient...I probably wouldn't make a good poker player!). Just wanted you to know that I think you are a wonderful inspiration to all women, and I am a huge fan of yours. I often tell others that in my next lifetime, I want to come back as Annie Duke!

Hello Annie,

I'm so with you on the "All about fundraising" thing, really, it's 2 out of 3 weeks already. I know it's for the good cause but still left wanting for more intellectually diverse tasks. I also hate it the editing crew let some people appear to fly under the radar like, all the time. had it not been for your blog, I would've thought Natalie and Tionne still being there was sheer luck.

I absolutely loved Piers Morgan last season and apparently you've been taking quite a similar approach yourself. Good luck with everything!

Thanks for the insight scoop, Annie.

Annie,

I'm rooting for you on the apprentice! You definitely are the smartest chick on the show! I think it will be down to you and Jessie at the end. You crack me up because I agree with you on a lot of the same beliefs, which I'm usually abnormal in my thinking compared to other women. Maybe because I'm a poker player too :) I don't get along with girls as well as guys either. I even tell my daughter there is very few women you can trust..LOL Women friends play games have ulterior motives etc.. Men..what you see is what you get, and they tell it like it is. Much less complicated!
Well anyways you are mine and my husbands favorite professional poker player! Good Luck on the show, I know you'll do great!!!
