  4. A great jingle! You give hope to all of us with zero musical talent ( or the ones of us that only sing in the shower)

  5. Susan Sacca says:

Poor old bag of bones will shrivil on Sunday she thinks she will call her friends in and find she really truly has none or they are too cheep to turn over the green!

  9. Eric Loeb says:

Annie, you are going to that special hell reserved for the writers of effective jingles. I’ve been humming the damn thing to myself every day this week.

At least you’ll be able to visit with your friend Adolf. :)

Keep up the good work. You ARE the Celebrity Apprentice.

  10. Mike Zinner says:

This jingle is awesome! So are you, again, congratulations on this, I knew you could do this, and I knew it would be this good, you are smart and creative and yes you do have music in you girl, very, very cool!

  11. David D says:

Go Annie – Do you think that you’ve been unfairly edited to seem like you talk about yourself all of the time. Aanyway – hoped you kicked butt last November and that you can win – after all Joan did say that it was her and Melissa against the rest of the world!

Hopefully Clint remembers how much Joan hated him the week before you took the heat off him!!

  12. Michael says:

    Annie,

While it was an upset, you won due to beginners luck.

Let’s see f you can pull another hat trick for the season finale?

The force will not be with you on Sunday.

  13. rahrahduke! says:

U seriously were/are my hero…but i am a a little concerned; ya might want to edit your title:

    “Me” and Brande’s …jungle?

And u claim to have an English degree?? Me shock is huge! .. “fo” chicken of the sea…. at least that one is a no brainer.

Either way, u will kick ass at the final.

  14. Charlie says:

Annie that was just Awsome! Great Job..Great Song!

  15. Vic says:

Wow, Annie. Your posts are ridiculous. If you’re not bragging ad nauseam about how wonderful you are, you’re slamming someone else. And then I see this little gem: “Thought I would post me and Brande’s…”?!? So, not only are you a miserable, conniving liar, but your lack of the most basic English skills reveals how stupid you truly are. “Liars no have to say de good English.”

  16. Agree with Vic says:

Annie do you ever take a break from patting yourself on the back? If you’re not doing that you’re complaining and dwelling on your Joan issues.

Even if you win apprentice, you still will have very little respect from the other players. Celeb Apprentice isn’t exactly then end all-be all, get over yourself.

  17. Beth says:

    Vic (and other stupid commenters)-
Did you forget that you’re on Annie’s blog? Do you want her to post something like “gosh I really suck at life and hate myself.” (Though then you’d probably dis her for talking about herself too much). If you don’t like Annie and think that her posts are bragging then maybe you shouldn’t be reading her blogs in the first place. Maybe you should consider a few things before you think about posting another comment:
    1) Her blogs are meant to give more information to fans and people who are interested in Annie (if she wasn’t talking about herself then we wouldn’t be reading them)
    2) If you actually read all her blogs you’d see that she also tells you about good things that other people did not just praising herself and slamming other people(Ex. from blogpost about Episode 8 “Jesse was under represented on the episode because he was the one who really organized the auction itself and I don’t think that was shown.”)
3)It’s a blog not an essay so who really cares about grammar.
4)Just shut up (and that goes to all you other negative people who post on here too). What does it say about your personality that you go to someone’s blog specifically to bash them. I really don’t like Joan and Melissa Rivers, and I read their blogs to see their side of the story, but I don’t post hateful comments on their blogs. Didn’t you ever hear the phrase “if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all”? Not that constructive criticism shouldn’t be given, but there’s a difference between that and “slamming someone else” which is what you’re doing in your post.

I really like Annie but that doesn’t mean I think she’d infallible. Everyone has parts of their personality which can annoy the crap outta other people. Sure she does say “I” a lot, but who doesn’t. I know if I had cameras rolling on me all day long the right editing can make it seem like every word outta my mouth is “I” or “me”, especially when you’re on a show where you have to constantly show and tell why you deserve to continue playing. I’d much rather listen to someone bragging “I” than someone complaining “you”. I mean really people, if you don’t like Annie go tell Joan to kick her butt or post on a neutral forum somewhere else if you need to get your opinion out. So please, just take your negativity and go away.

  18. robin says:

    Vic and agree with Vic,
Through Annie’s blog, she is letting us all get to know her. She is taking valuable time out of her hectic schedule to let us see her as a person, how she thinks and how she feels.
Unless you are close friend or family you would not be privvy to cool personal information like this. You would only get to see her playing poker or on tv.
Negative comments will not encourage Annie to write more, so beat it with your spelling corrections and negativity.
I for one enjoy reading Annie’s blog.
Keep up the good work Annie.
Don’t listen to the kids who live in their parents basement suite.

  19. Christian Brown says:

You guys are ridiculous. You should realize that she did something incredible and that she proud of it. Good for her. You all wish you could have the talent she has.

Also, that jingle was amazing; so impressively made!

    And kick Joan’s ass. Please!
hehe shouldn’t be hard for you. ;)

  20. Cong says:

You girls had such fun. You deserved the win totally

  21. Rebecca says:

I have theory that Joan recognized early on that Annie would be in the final two. SOOO, she purposely created the so-called tilt and feud with Annie so that it would make sense to choose her for the final against Annie. Basically making Donald and the producers think that she’s on tilt when she really isn’t. Like that theory? I love it, except that Joan was stupid enough to make a three mistakes that should have gotten her fired – the Hitler comment, quitting, and that racist idea for the basketball ad task. Because of these stupid mistakes, I don’t think she was quite smart enough to master-mind the tilt from the beginning.

A couple of other observations: why is Donald being soft on Joan when she cries in the board room when asked who should be fired? It’s disgusting. Any other contestant in history would have been fired for that ridiculousness. Can you imagine if Tionne had cried the exact same way when asked who should be fired? It would have been brutal.

Joan should have been fired when she was PM of the jewelry auction task. She did a poor job of delegating – Natalie to pick the Jewelry and Clint to conduct the auction. Poor choices that should have come back to the PM.

Honestly, none of the final 5 players were strong enough to go against Annie. I really think Melissa was the 2nd strongest player with the all-around ability to coordinate people, come up with branding ideas, etc. If only she hadn’t gotten whiney and emotional, Brande might have gotten fired and Melissa might be in the final.
Lastly, people say Annie doesn’t show emotion. Sure she does! BUT, she keeps things PROFESSIONAL in the board room, not mean, or cry when it’s not appropriate. This is exactly how it is in corporate America. My colleagues and I have plenty of things we could cry over or call each other nasty names, but it’s entirely unacceptable in a business environment to do these things – SO WE DON’T. Annie is conducting herself properly in the board room. It’s obvious that Donald is friends with Joan and that it’s clouding his judgement, repeatedly. Again though, this crap happens in corporate America, too.

I liked Joan in the first 2 weeks and Melissa until she got whiney and emotional. It’s such a shame.

The only thing that may be Annie’s downfall is that it is perceived that she is manipulative and scheming, but I think Piers did this much more blatantly Since he got hired, this time around Donald may want to go in another direction – picking the “nice” guy. HOWEVER, JOAN IS NOT A NICE GUY LIKE TRACE WAS. Joan is sooooooo mean and nasty at this point. If they portray this as Annie the mean one and Joan the nice one – they’ve got it totally backwards in an attempt to frame it like last season so that they can mix up the choices.

Annie, hopefully you’ll simply do such good job on the last task that there is no way Donald can pick Joan, just like you did on the tuna task against Clint.

It drives me Insane!!!!! These videos are not available in Canada.. why do they do that. Why are we less of viewers than the USA.

  23. Sus Gordon says:

    You tell em Beth
It amazes me how people believe that being excited about a task that was totally out of her whelm is a bad thing. No.. its excitement!!!!
How many times have you achieved success with a task or project that you thought was totally not you. I think it is awesome that she shows her excitement and yes.. let people know her emotions. I wish more people would do it rather than not. Self esteem is important and excitement makes you human. What the heck has Joan ever done other than keep her head in a project that made her look like she was against it. She has not added much to her tasks other than her fame and on that note.. has not been able to raise money for charity with all her ‘network’ of friends.
Annie has built a major part of her poker life and reputation by giving back and sweetie.. that is definately a GREAT thing!!!

  24. julie says:

Well personally I think Annie has done well against all the negative personalities around her. I think Brande is smart and should have stayed. Piers is an ass who needs to go back across the creek. The worst part of the show is and has been Joan. When she wanted to come back after her and Melissa’s embarrassing exit, Donald should have fired her then. He will have to deal with her drama in the future if he hires her. Which at least then he could retire her(God please). The first clue to me that Joan was off her rocker is the fact that she paid to get a glasgow smile.

  25. Spare us Robin says:

How is constantly complaining about the Rivers women letting us get to know her? Honestly it’s like listening to a high school clique fight with the constant complaining she does. Spare us with the parent’s basement comment if you have nothing else productive to add please. Just because you’re looking for people with similar situations doesn’t mean you need to post it here. ;)

  26. To be fair Beth says:

You’re also sucking in the negativity when you come here and feed on Annie’s nastiness to the Rivers right back with her constant dwelling of the issues. You’re just as bad…

  27. Joan+Melissa Rosenberg says:

coward above uses other user names to post their stupidity and ignorance – cute- well not really.

go away coward because you are lying in your posts.

“high school” is a whining complaint endlessly heard by melissa, copied by clueless people like yourself.

oddly, all the things the lunatic rivers’ ladies said, ACTUALLY applies to themselves, this includes melissa’s “high school” complaint and then she turned around and was acting EXACTLY LIKE THE HIGH SCHOOL TEENY BOPPER- FOR GOD SAKE SHE’S 43 YRS OLD!

If you were a descent person (which you aren’t, you’re a coward) you would go bk and review the shows… se how far back joan attacked clint for no reason.. then when she started attacking annie, for no reason..

and then see HOW RECENTLY it was that annie finally came back with some words of her own, not to joan but in her private interviews to let off steam.. it was pretty much in the last 2 episodes only..

YOU SEE ONLY WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE, YOU SEE ONLY WHAT JOAN TOLD YOU TO SEE.

Hey Annie loved the Jingle… All the best hope you win!!!

  35. Joan+Melissa Rosenberg says:

The worthless white trash scumbag lunatic JOAN RIVERS will be on the Jimmy Fallon Show either tonight or tomorrow night- check your local listings.

Obviously she’s trying to LIE AND WEASEL her way through network television to try and save her 4th rate career.

Poor babies, she and her 41 yr old little girl, got fired from the Red Carpet job because they are both such a laughing stock and untalented.

  36. Actually Rosenberg says:

Hey Rosenberg, how do you know these people are who you say here. You get in arguments with pretty much everyone here, so how do we know you aren’t crazy enough to be making up comments just to amuse yourself. You seem to be here 24/7 as it is. You seem pretty cowardly with your nastiness and not wanting to listen to people.

  37. Donatello says:

I didn’t remember the mannequins in front of the jingle??

To me, the Apprentice is the best show on the air not the least reason being the Don’s incredible boardroom savvy. But I do have to say at this point, you da bomb Annie. Plain and simple.

You against Joan in the final – that’s going to good I believe. What are the odds? Anybody taking book on Joan ;)

  38. Melissa says:

Annie, I would have liked your jingle more if you weren’t so darned boastful about it. I mean come on…..you just kept on and on and on and on and on and on about how great it was…really….

  39. karen says:

Good luck on Sunday. It could have been pretty easily forecasted from jump street that it was going to be Joan and Someone. This promises to be entertaining, and, frankly, both women are extremely talented.

If this was hold ‘em, i guess we’d be looking for your ‘river’ card… :)

  41. Joan+Melissa Rosenberg says:

    http://www.pokersource.com/news/celebrity-apprentice-finals-analysis-annie-duke-joan-rivers.asp

Great article at link above.. points out how Joan pretty much showed NO TALENT throughout the tasks, skated through, and conveniently wasn’t even there for a couple tasks (away on other business), so if her team lost (and they did) then she couldnt be fired cuz she wasn’t there- what a crock.

article above is good at analyzing all the tasks and some great points mentione about Joan:

“…Rivers, however, also has a nasty streak which does not require much explanation. Her over-the-top, inappropriate viciousness aimed towards Duke and Brande Roderick was completely uncalled for and if it wasn’t good for ratings, should have gotten her fired.”

    and

“…What’s funny is that Rivers has continually said that Duke is “two-faced,” “conniving,” and a “snake.” In the meantime, look at how Rivers has acted. Throughout the show, she rarely had anything nice to say about anybody. She would say something nasty about someone in the side interviews just about every show. And though she tried to come across as a team player (and she was at times), she had the tendency to let her teammates hang themselves. The Schwan’s task was a great example of this. She essentially opted out of the project at the onset, saying she didn’t cook, and let Herschel Walker act on multiple bad ideas. Clint Black tried to get Walker to realize where he was wrong on both the chicken dish and dessert, but Rivers never back Black up on it.

Rivers has also contradicted herself. When laying into Roderick and Duke, she said that she didn’t care about winning money for charity, whereas when she interviewed with Piers Morgan, she said she would pull out all the fundraising stops. She said that Duke would “bury her mother” to win, yet told Morgan that she herself would “kill” to win. And, in a famous rant, Rivers told Duke that poker players are scum, yet in an interview with PokerNewsDaily.com, she claimed to love poker players.”

    and

“…Rivers was the project manager for the other team and failed miserably. She had Natalie Gulbis choose the jewelry when she herself should have, since she has her own jewelry line, her team’s strategy was completely wrong, resulting in embarrassment for the Trumps when not all of the jewelry was sold, and she had Clint Black be the auctioneer when he clearly was not good at it. Rivers was the obvious candidate for firing, but television ratings won out and Gulbis was thrown on the grenade.”

    and

“…After reviewing all of the projects throughout the entire season, it is painfully obvious that Annie Duke has far outperformed Joan Rivers. It is not even close. Joan Rivers did seem strong to me in the beginning, but at this point, it is hard for me to understand why Donald Trump thinks she is one of the best two contestants and it is even harder for me to understand why fans think she has been so good.”

and final great quote in the article:

“…For the most part, Rivers had had very little to contribute to tasks….”

    EXACTLY !

  42. Sebastian says:

Annie- people here need to give you credit for your general street smarts.
If you are honest with yourself you know that you are one of the most overrated poker players that appear on television. But I give you credit for parlaying your TV persona into this apprentice gig. Perhaps there will be other multmedia possibilites out there for you…because you ain’t gonna make a living on the poker table sweetheart.

  43. Janine Rhymestone says:

I hate you Annie! You’re a stupid b***h. i want Joan to win. You think your song was actually more musical than Clint’s? Thats not what the contest was. Your’s was more catchy but Clint’s had some musical value! Wake up and smell the vodka, girl, or its gon’ get rough for you.

  44. KayZee says:

Funny thing, when the bloggers on this board rave about you, I disagree, and yet, when some bloggers talk trash about you, I’m offended!? Honestly, I’m not sure if I like you or not! But I respect you a lot more than at the beginning of the season. Since I don’t follow poker, I didn’t even know who you were until Celebrity Apprentice. I’m a big Joan Rivers fan from way back, but seeing how her daughter, Melissa, went off the deep end like a spoiled little B**ch, I’m starting to lose respect for Joan now too. I have had a loyalty to Joan from the get go, so I was pretty much on her side until now. The Joan/Melissa meltdown and bizarre tantrums has elevated you even more in the competition, as opposed to before. And interestingly, we all have to realize we don’t really know much what really went down, because we don’t know the whole story, when the show is edited and many important facts hit the editing floor and are cut from the show. Seriously, the way the show was edited, it presented poor Melissa as the underdog, kicked time and time again by the arrogant poker player! At least until we saw how coo coo for cocoa puffs Melissa really was! The way her mama tried to rescue and defend her is proof positive that many kids of famous people are spoiled brats.OK, but back to you. Listen up – I know you need to be very self assured to be a poker player, I get that. Just be careful, because your blatant overestimation of yourself and annoying arrogance just may turn out to be your Achilles heel! My advice would be to check yourself, you don’t seem to be aware of how arrogant you are to the core. A little humility goes along way. One more thing – Trump said in the board room you were disliked by others. Huh? I don’t think so at all. In fact, you actually seem likable (except your arrogance!). Trump seems to be very unpredictable and arrogant himself – and definitely not to be trusted! Duh. Your smile and basically very charming way of communicating with others could take you even farther than you even know, its just that conceited talk that gets you in trouble! In any case, may the best woman win, the final show is in less than 6 hours!

  45. KayZee says:

One more thing – about the song. I’m a musician and can tell you that you gave yourself WAY to much credit for the jingle. It was a collaberative effort, even though you tried to give the musicians direction. You had no part in playing or singing or any of the logistics involved in studio work, like Clint did (although he is a complete d*ckhead). You went way to far in patting yourself on the back – once again! Very bad characterstic, arrogance is. Your so smart, why don’t you get that?

  46. Juanita says:

    Annie,
I was rooting for Joan but, I honestley believe you deserve to win. You played the game great. as for the immature people on here calling Joan and her daughter names, shame on all of you. They are family and have a right to take up for each other. This is a game and Annie is playing it perfectly! Annie, I never heard of you til the Apprentice and now will enjoy watching and rooting for you when you play poker! You GO Girl!

  47. KayZee says:

    Joan+Melissa Rosenberg says:
“If you were a descent person (which you aren’t, you’re a coward) you would go bk and review the shows… se how far back joan attacked clint for no reason.. then when she started attacking annie, for no reason..”
Uh, the feud started when Annie talked sh*t about Brandie to anyone who would listen, including Joan, then supported Brandie the next day, probably to annoy Melissa, who she seemed to consider her main competition. And I don’t know who you are arguing with, but is it necessary to call out other people posting on this site as “coward” etc? Grow up.

  48. PW says:

HOPE YOU LOSE ANNIE, WE REALLY DON’T LIKE YOU, WITH SOME OF THAT MONEY WHY DO YOU DO SOMETHING TO INPROVE YOUR LOOKS,TEETH,HAIR AND LOSE SOME FAT, I GUESS YOU CAN’T FIX UGLY OR STUPID,YOU ARE WHITE TRASH AND A STUPID LIAR AND A CHEAP HO, A CHEATER, YOU WERE JUST LUCKY IN POKER. ANYONE CAN DO IT AND THEY HAVE.
WE LOVE JOAN RIVERS SHE HAS MORE CLASS IN HER PINKY THAN YOU COULD EVER EVER HAVE.
GOOD LUCK JOAN RIVERS WE LOVE YOU!!
    AND HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

  49. William S. Daniel says:

Annie rocks! She is clearly superior in every
way to that old blowhard windbag Joan Rosenberg.
Anyone with intelligence would want to work for
or with Annie, never bitchy old Joan. Trump
proved himself to be a real idiot picking Joan
over Annie for the Celebrity Apprentice winner.
Joan raised just over $150,000. Annie raised well
    over $400,000. Evidently, Trump can’t read a
bottom line. I would be honored and delighted to
work with Annie in any business. I would not
spend 1 second with that bitch Joan Rivers.

  50. kenny says:

    Annie,
Donald Trump tossed you under the bus for ratings. I watched him on Fox News this morning. In the interview, he made a comment about the controversy surrounding Miss California and how it had improved the ratings for his Miss USA Investment, it was clear; he planned to name Joan Rivers as the Celebrity Apprentice, just to stoke the fires of controversy.

You out performed Joan in every area and Donald Trump just gave her the title. I have always thought Joan Rivers was a-class-act but that opinion changed. I have never seen two more spoiled adults in my life. Both Joan and Melissa Rivers are vicious, foul mouthed, out spoken bitches. I have never been more disappointed in my life to discover that Joan Rivers has two faces {no pun intended}.

Annie, you played that game with the same class and style that you demonstrate on the poker table. Considering you were compared to one of the most vial war criminals to have ever lived, you maintained poise that your children will admire you for, not to mention your fans. I did not mind my children watching you but I could not allow them to because of the foul mouths of Joan, Melissa, Dice Clay and Denise.

Hold your head high, Donald Trump made a serious mistake tonight and will regret naming Joan Rivers the Celebrity Apprentice.

Annie Duke, you are the true Celebrity Apprentice, it is a terrible shame that Donald Trump tossed you under the bus for ratings. It is possible that he just felt sorry for that old whine bag………..

We all love you Annie Duke…….
