Final Episode of Celebrity Apprentice: Trump slowrolls me

I am currently going through the 1500 pending comments on my site . I can’t believe the support from so many people. It is really amazing and I couldn’t have imagined that all these people would feel compelled to write in. Please be patient while I get through all the comments. In the meantime, I am asking those who feel I should have won to please visit the Refugees International site. Explore the site, educate yourself about the charity and, if you can afford it and you really think I was robbed, please donate because I am not the one harmed, the charity is.

As for the finale of the Celebrity Apprentice, I will be blogging more thoroughly on it later in the week as I process last night. In the meantime, I want to thank Mr. Trump for the way he hired Joan Rivers. In the previous 7 seasons of The Apprentice he has never done anything but pointed to the winner and said “You’re Hired.” Last night, instead, he looked at me and, after asking if I knew what he was going to say, and said, “Annie, You’re Fired.” Nice slowroll. Good game, sir.

    Jim-

Over on one of the other blog topics here (one before this one, believe), the designer was discussed quite a bit, and an interesting thing was suggested–The guy didn’t quit just because Joan was rude. He quit because she was going to cheat and the producers had to stop her or change the rules. By attempting to bring in her own resources beyond what the show provided, she was willfully cheating on one of the basic rules of the entire Apprentice model: no outside help or resources in order to win a challenge. So yes, she was rude, but also this could have negated the entire pre-contract, (for those who follow that line of thinking), by getting the world to see the cheating rather than having CA work the deal. I posted the designer’s quals on that thread. He was stellar. No doubt he was placed to crush Annie, Joan just got in the way.

No way around it, the producers had to do something. By pulling the plug on the designer for both teams, it placed Annie in a near-insurmountable situation, wasted time for her, but also potentially allowed Joan to use all her legendary NYC resources at her disposal, the way she wanted.

It was a very specific and analytical thread there.

Also, re: Melissa. I don’t believe anyone has said she was stupid, or incapable, but she is unfortunately wed to her mother. Likely more the mother’s fault than the daughter, but if she can’t stand on her own, I have no respect. In the real world, the mettle of the person is what they do in the face of adversity. It is a sad day when she realizes the adversity is within the family and the only excuse for multi-generational failure is a mother who cries, “come back! I did all this for you! So we could be together forever!” Yes, I know it sounds like a bad movie, but there it is. Melodrama becomes their reality, doesn’t it?

  2. Suzi says:

Ford, and Augie Thanks for the detail insights.

Also, The Cruella Ripers interveiw on The Early Show.

  3. Rod says:

The rig was on. I’m pretty sure Annie was supposed to lose the jingle writing contest so they wouldn’t have had to deal with all this backlash, but accidently screwed that one up when Annie somehow managed to beat Clint…

The thing that bothers me the most is that I wasted all that time watching a rigged tv show. What a joke. From the start I didn’t actually think Annie would win, but week after week she just got stronger, and stronger… Not only did I think she had a chance, but she was the clear cut favorite! And then for it to end the way it did… What a joke. All the attacks on Annies character, the attack on her friends character… And Donald actually called Joan a role model? She was despicable. A bitter foul mouthed old lady. Nothing more… I’m just ridiculously annoyed I got so into a show that was rigged all along. I was scammed…

Annie you were the real winner. Add the $250,000 to Joan’s raised funds and you still kicked her ass. You performed admirably, honestly and fairly, all of which Joan claimed to do… But in the words of the 2+2ers ‘epic fail’.

  4. Jay Simons says:

    ANNIE,
I AM PROUD OF YOU FOR MAINTAINING YOUR INTEGRITY. YOU REALLY ARE A GREAT WOMAN. UNFORTUNATELY FOR JOAN SHE WILL HAVE BE CONFRONTED TIME AND TIME AGAIN OF HER RUTHLESS ATTACK ON SOMEONE WHO IS JUST SIMPLY MORE INTELLIGENT AS SHE. 75 YRS OLD … THAT IS NO EXCUSE… SHE IS A SAD PERSON FULL OF BITTERNESS… HAVING TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT HER DAUGHTER IS JUST LIKE HER :( JUST A REMINDER ….SHE ACCUSED YOU OF BEING OF HER OWN KIND… THAT MY FRIEND IS IMPOSSIBLE. YOU ARE THE BEST … SMART, FULL OF VIBRANCY, CONCERN FOR OTHERS AND SIMPLY WELL LIKED BY SO MANY – THAT YOU WILL NEVER REALLY FULLY KNOW. PS. DONT EVER GET ANY WORK DONE ON YOUR FACE … YOU CAN SEE WHAT COULD HAPPEN ;0

  5. Brian says:

In the end, Trump’s show is about two things – raising money for charity and Donald Trump. The only reason he asked you if you knew what he was going to say is because he wanted to try to show that you couldn’t read the great Donald like you can read others at the poker table. Joan was unprofessional throughout the show, didn’t sell the theater tickets to “the man on the street” as she was charged with doing, and got credit for having fake celebrities when she was charged with getting real celebrities to show up and upsetting the event planners to the point where they quit as some kind of gameplay tactic when nothing could have been further from the truth. Worst of all, Joan stated on two seperate occasions that it “wasn’t about charity” which is about the most reprehensible thing she could have said about the competition she was a part of. Truly a travesty of justice for your charity, Anne. At least I know you can let it roll off your back.

  6. AugieDogie says:

Yeah, I read a thing a while back some other dude wrote about some guy named Bob Watford. Said he was a complete dick, and that author rarely says bad things about anyone, so you know it’s gotta be true. The author said that if he were Bob Watford, he would be so depressed he would consciously stop breathing in hopes of ridding the world of his awful, Hitler-like despicableness, though that would also screw up because, in his own dickish way, Bob Watford would resume breathing while unconscious, doomed to repeat this until he finally succeeds by passing out in his dickish soup.

  7. eva says:

OMG. THE REASON WHY THERE ARENT AS MUCH GOING ON IN JOAN’S BLOG IS THE SAME REASON WHY PEOPLE ONLY MAKE REVIEWS FOR PRODUCTS THEY HATE OR RESTAURANTS WITH BAD SERVICE…IF YOU ARENT HAPPY, YOU ARE MORE LIKELY TO VENT AND COMPLAIN WHICH IS WHY THERE ARE SO MANY COMMENTS HERE ON ANNIE’S PAGE. I AM HAPPY THAT JOAN WON BUT I DIDNT EVEN THINK OF GOING TO HER BLOG TO CONGRATULATE HER..I THINK ILL DO THAT NOW.

  8. Angel says:

UNBELIEVABLE!! I am honestly baffled at the Celebrity App. outcome. Baffled…you were awesome in every aspect! Hats off to you Annie Duke!! You

  9. carolyn hopkins says:

stoopid old hag!! Annie… you were pocket rockets… and you got beat (as happens – we all know that!) by a deuce seven… off suit, to boot!

You were classy and a lady, throughout the show… more than I can say for that plastica gaced old bat, and her horse faced daughter!!

  10. Gloria Perez says:

Annie’s friends, family, and fans need to submit their vote for Annie on NBC.com’s Celebrity Apprentice poll site. It’s asking who you think won…, however; this NBC web poll also smells crooked. No surprise to me, now. Nevertheless, lets still flood the poll site supporting Annie as the true winner!

  11. Kevin Barry says:

This isn’t going to make me any friends at this site but I need to say what needs to be said; Annie Duke played a good game but she lost fair and square. Let me explain:
As a poker player I know the paramount importance of not going on tilt and not underestimating your opponent. These two concepts were Annie’s undoing.
Joan initially didn’t actually liken Annie to Hitler. That’s right, it didn’t happen. Go back and look at the tape. Joan was actually referring to Trump’s assumption that one can tell a book by its cover. Joan was essentially saying that that wasn’t true. She wasn’t likening Annie to Hitler; she was simply using an extreme example to poke a hole in Trump’s reasoning. It’s a standard debating tactic and, frankly, it was a valid point.
What actually happened was that Piers Morgan set Annie up by feigning dismay that Joan
had just referred to Annie as Hitler. Piers knows better than anyone that conflict makes
good t.v. Annie took the bait went on tilt and from then on didn’t play her “A” game. And Joan seeing Annie on tilt, like a dog with a new toy, started actually calling Annie worse than Hitler to continue to throw Annie off her game. Joan knew perfectly well that leaving the matter unresolved gave her an edge. At the poker tables, not a week goes by that I’m not called things just as bad; and I simply let it roll off me. Annie needed to let the insults roll off her, as any good poker player can do, in order to have won the competition.
I once heard Annie on Poker After Dark refer to the table that she was playing at as an interesting anthropological study; and, I think, she was dead right. But Annie wasn’t the only anthropologist on Celebrity Apprentice. Joan Rivers’ first love before she got into comedy was anthropology. Margaret Mead was her professor. I think both Annie and Joan were on an equal footing in this regard but Annie, I think, saw Joan as simply crazy and, hence, underestimated Joan’s ability to both read people and to use strategy in a social milieu. Both players played a good game. Neither player played a perfect game. But I do think that Joan Rivers won on the merits of her game play.

  12. trooper york says:

I think you are a very classy lady and it is a travesty that the pompous windbag Trump threw the rules of the game out the window to give the win to that gargoyle. You can out of this the big winner and I hope your charity reaps the benefits.

  13. new annie fan :) says:

just want to say that you have impressed me so much, i allways knew you where smart and all that but you really took it to another lvl :)

i would like to know what you feel about mr.trump and rivers beeing friends, and if that could have given her an advantage?

and isnt it strange that she quit and was allowed to come back, dont trump hate quiters? :)

and what you feel about that rivers lies in trumps face in the last board meeting (about the event guy) and he still hires her?

i just think this whole thing is so strange..

and 1 more thing, did you know that the producer of celeb aprentice is the main producer of rivers new tv show that will air in some months? also a trump family member is on the board of rivers charity..

btw all the CA forums is talking about this, and i think more than 95% think you should have won :)

anyway its probly better to be the person everyone think should have won than the person who wins and dont deserve it :)

  14. WallyJ says:

Annie… you played with absolute precision and dignity. You dominated! I have watched every season of the Apprentice but am now boycotting the show forever because of Donald’s decision.

I only wish you would have slow played Joan’s team early on when they wanted to use Phil Helmuth in the fund-raiser mid-season. You should have let them have him, only to have him bid on your items once it all started… Talk about the ultimate slow-play…

You’re still amazing. Keep being you! And email me if you need more encouraging words!

  15. C says:

    Annie-

I’m not a poker player, just an everyday gal who was watching Celebrity Apprentice. I think you should have won. I don’t think of you as a “mean girl,” but actually as someone who has dealt with mean girls like JR in the past, and now you know how to deal with them with your wit and assertiveness. You didn’t quit, you didn’t go around calling people vulgar names, you didn’t practice such annoyingly obvious nepotism with your family on the show, and you didn’t go out of your way to cut off other people in the boardroom, and so it surprises me that someone who had done all that was called a “role model.”

Anyway, I think you’re cool. And I’m thinking I should learn how to play poker.

    C

  16. Traci says:

Annie, you were the winner in my book. I am fuming mad that Trump picked Joan for the win. You were not ruthless at all and I would have been proud to be on your team. I hope you are proud of what you did on the show. Keep your chin up you are awesome!

  17. Lynn says:

    Annie,

You should have won! No doubt about it – you were more successful in every aspect of the task. You raised more money, your event was a red carpet event (not a child’s circus party like Joan had), you had actual celebrities (not fake celebrities), and your branding of the Kodak picture frame was much better. I never knew the picture frames could show videos – you showed me something new and made me actually think about getting a picture frame. In addition you raised more money during the season, and you won both times as team leader.

Like others, I won’t watch the Celebrity Apprentice again. You were the Piers Morgan of this season and should have won based on the criteria they gave you. Saying that Joan was better in 3 out of the 5 things was just wrong. Remember one of the 5 things was to have actual celebrities. I am surprised no one called her on that!

Anyway, it was a pleasure to “get to know you” during this show, and you are an inspiriation to me and others. Your attitude was great, you played fairly, and you got the job done. And it says a lot about you in seeing how many friends you have who really supported you in big ways on the show.

I just had to write to let you know how disappointed that Trump picked Joan. He was wrong. You were the best contestant and should have won. Good luck to you!

    Lynn

  18. Marker says:

Annie Won. Don’t even try to deny it.
Next time, just turn to Joan and say “Nice Husband.”

  19. Polka Player says:

I was extremely offended by Joan River’s remarks!

  20. joanriversucks says:

the best part of this season, was when you sent melissa rivers home crying..that was great. you did trump a favor by being on his show, you obviously can raise money for your charity on your own. i will not be watching the show again, you were totally gymped.

  21. Jacklyn says:

I was left disturb after it was over and I swear I kept my husband up late talking about it. I don’t understand why they did not leave time for reactions after it was over. Why was Joan so quick to hug Annie as if it was okay now because she won. If Annie had won, Joan would have stormed off. It was unreal to me that there was no control in the boardroom. Donald asked what happened about the designer, so clearly he knew, but he refused to admit Joan was responsible.

  22. Bill Herb says:

Seriously annie you got robbed! SHE WAS CLEARLY the reason the decorator quit. So her charity was full of gay people of course her hall looked better. Had they enforced the rules which was you were to use their decorate you would have one because you weren’t a bit*h to your decorator and hers quit leaving her not able to do anything because those were the rules I don’t see how her decorator quitting because she was rude, should have affected you! Here is what I tried posting or emailing to Bit*h rivers but her site conveniently doesn’t allow you to voice your opinion anywhere.

Joan seriously I was appalled watching the apprentice you were on video telling the decorator that you wanted him to work with your decorator because granted he wasn’t doing the job however YOU WERE STILL however responsible for the company quitting!!!! it’s on video!!! so it makes me disgusted you sat there and got so appalled accusing Annie that she was lying not even letting her finish the story! It was blatantly obvious why they quit and it was you Joan and all of America knows it!

  23. Sass says:

Annie, I’m so glad you’re calling Trump on the pricky slow-roll thing. You’ve got to promise us two things: 1)You won’t do an Omarosa – Get lured into doing another season of being the “bad girl” to get him ratings (not that you’re anything like Omarosa)and 2)You won’t do a Trace – come back for the next season finale and take a deal with the devil to praise a senile, dysfunctional, despicable whore pit-viper like Joan. It was obvious Trace wanted you to win, by the way…he looked down when he talked and didn’t look either of you in the eye. Trump gave him a shitload of money for his charity in exchange for lying.

  24. Zeppy says:

LOL AugieDogie–did the guy who complained about Bob have a severe drinking problem, too? :)

  25. Rachel says:

I was so offended by the finale, ‘JR’ and Donald Trump’s unfair treatment and decision making. The one positive out of it all is that I have been truly impressed by Annie Duke – she is incredibly smart and I have always had respect for poker players and even more now that I have seen one of their finest in action. Thanks for leaving a silver lining to a very disappointing ending. Personally I will not watch another season yet will keep Annie’s winning spirit with me. Thanks for sharing you! And of course AMAZING work for your charity and big thumbs up to all your contributors and friends.

  26. Zeppy says:

Melissa twttered on CA, and all she did was call Annie childish names. It’s like it’s their default position, get personal. I feel sorry for Melissa with Joan as her role model of how to interact with others, but at 50 or whatever you really need to grow up and learn how to behave. Annie’s had a lot to nice things to say about joan and Melissa just evaluating it dispassionately on how they performed on the tasks, despite the horrible way they treated her, meanwhile she hasn’t done a damn thing to them and all they can do is sling more mud.

  27. josh says:

WTF!! When I was watching the show, I was absolutely sure that you had won… It was like watching this..
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crn09kUcZiw

I blew up worst than a Phil Helmuth tirade.
Well, all you can do is laugh.
    Every donkey has it’s day.

Well looking at the situation in hindsight…Maybe you were the one who had no chance of winning. After all, week after week, she was allowed to get away with her antics in
the boardroom. How she actually made it to the finals is a mystery in itself. All I can say is this… I thought I was watching a boxing fight and the “fix” was in.

    Prop bet
    11/2 on Joan Rivers…Somebody made some money…

    Have a nice day ANNIE

  28. Zeppy says:

“LONG LIVE JOAN RIVERS! JOAN DESERVED TO WIN. SHE IS THE BEST. SHE DOESN’T PULL ANY TRICKS OR PLAY ANY GAMES. SHE LETS IT ALL HANG OUT. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. SHE’S NOT INTO PLAYING GAMES!!!!”

Well, if she doesn’t play games, I guess that explains how poor her performance was on this game show. LOL Too bad she didn’t yell “I do not play any games, I am not into playing games, I will not be on your game show!” when they asked her–I guess it’s the senility. :)

  29. azbohem says:

    Jim,

I did watch the show. I guess humility isn’t the right word. What I meant was that Joan allowed people to do a job or to just be themselves. A recurring theme with Annie was that people felt like she was condescending towards them. I think it hurt her in the end because she didn’t have the real talent working with her; her game suffered.

And who said anything about RI not being worthy of any money? Nor did I say anything about race.

I said it was controversial to pick an organization where money goes to benefit those outside the country (although I do too choose to contribute within my own country or if its in the best interest of my country, but I digress). Where did “a certain race of people is more worthy” come into it?

Everything has to be so extreme… if I didn’t think Annie should win or if I don’t particularly like her, I must HATE her. If I preferred Joan, I must want to BE her.

Annie told people that Joan called her Hitler. That is not what happened. I can’t remember the exact context but Donald said something to the effect of, “Annie seems likable” and JOan responded, “so did Hitler.” Those are two very different things. Annie took the gamble that she could win by acting so defenseless against her. She should have just blown Joan off!

The only real significance, from my perspective, is that Annie is still green.. and a big fish in a small pond. That was Joan’s point about being equal. Joan was saying to herself that she (being Joan) knows better than to monkey around in an arguemnt with Annie.

No doubt, Annie got under MY skin. I suppose that’s why I’m intrigued by her.. but I’m more intrigued by where she’ll go from here. There are two choices: learn from it like a lady and be even bigger and better (learn the lessons about how to treat people.. even if its a play) OR continue to be a narcissist.

  30. Libby says:

If Trump has any sense he will hire Annie for real to help him get his casinos back on track. He may not have that much sense.

  31. clara says:

In regards to Annie’s charity choice, I’ve seen some mixed comments about it. My feeling is that it’s good to see someone with money realize that while it’s fantastic to help local causes, as people we are all interelated and what affects people on the other side of the world is now as important as what happens right next door. I was pleased that Annie’s charity wasn’t the standard, “my brother started a charity about x” or “this issue closely affects me/my family”. Because while these are still very valid causes, it’s easy to open your heart to problems that you see every day, it’s much harder to see how there are often more distant but very impactful problems.

Also, thanks to Annie for not slinging mud or directly attacking people. At the end of the day, yes we get pissed at people and bitch about them but direct attacks and name calling are far more hurtful and harmful when the intent is actually hate vs annoyance.

  32. Linda says:

I wont watch next season!! Joan and Donald sux!

  33. azbohem says:

So I was wrong about something. Regis and Kelly have Joan on the next morning and she sort of admit to having called Annie, “Hitler”.

But it was a nice interview. She diss’d Annie a little in her tone but nothing compared to the show (and of course she was being baited). But she’s also like, “you have to realize, we’re up at 5:30 til midnight working for 6 weeks and so stressed.”

  34. Reply to Jacklyn says:

It’s funny you talk about people storming off after the show because that’s exaclty what Annie did.

If you’d pay better attention, Joan never hired another designer, she wanted help from a friend to go with the event planner already there and he had a hissy fit. Had Annie wanted one and the guy had a hissy fit, people would be calling the event planner names telling him to suck it up.

It’s so sad how so many people here are making up lies and fairy tales to make themselves feel better about Annie losing. Try watching the show without any bias and then see how you feel.

  35. Zeppy says:

“Annie told people that Joan called her Hitler. That is not what happened. I can’t remember the exact context but Donald said something to the effect of, “Annie seems likable” and JOan responded, “so did Hitler.” Those are two very different things.”

Joan said “So was Hitler at Buchenwald.” Buchenwald was a concentration camp where ttens or hundreds of thousands of Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, communists and others were slaughtered under Hitler’s orders. I’m sorry, those are two very different things how? That’s just ludicrous. I’m sorry, but I don’t how see how Annie is a narcissist when Joan compares some minor problem she has to the Holocaust, but that’s just me.

I suspect Anniw knows that if she acted like a maniac and made uncnscionable statements, she could get her own reality show, and have people cheering on her trashy behavior and hating people who act like adults. I know that too. Who doesn’t?

As to the refugees, tha’s the dumbest argument I hear, no offense. We’re taking about people who have been driven out of their countries by war, famine, gencide, who have no where to go, who have to arms, no legs, no food, and we’re not supposed to care because they’re not American? Yeah. The’re refugees, they have no nationality be definition, they were drived out of their countries. I would never judge anyone for giving to any kind of charity, but the fact is most refugees in camps have suffered on a level that goes beyond what we know in this country.

  36. becky says:

Who cares about joan at least you still have your honor. Seriously, who would genuinly (sp?) want to deal with Joans drama in a real working environment? You and Brande were the best game players and raised the most money. You should have won; I think it was definately fixed. And what they said about Brande being an embarrasement was totally uncalled for. I believe she is way smarter than people give her credit for.

  37. I agree with Azbohem says:

What I don’t understand is why Annie didn’t just calmly ask for an apology rather than onstantly complaining. It’s not exactly the mature route to keep swelling on it over and over. It would have looked more professional to flat out say you are offended and ask for an apology rather than going off right back. Joan said things that were uncalled for AND Annie did too. Wishing someone death is just plain cruel and wrong. Continually acting hurt and upset rather than either blowing it off or asking for an apology was immature.

  38. Zeppy says:

Yeah, they were all under the same stresses and everybody else was able to control themselves. I understand she’s old, but if you can’t handle it, don’t do it. once again, that’s narcissistic behavior, hey i’m under stress so I’m going to attack you and your friends and your family all these names, I’m not going to apologize for it and you’re going to have to put up with it because i’m under stress. Stress isn’t an excuse for treating other people like dirt to play to the TV audience and not even feel bad about it.

  39. Linda says:

    You so totally rock

I’m assuming you’re on Facebook – you do realize you’ve now got quite a few fan clubs

Sign me up to be a whore pit viper if you’re what one is!

I love how Joan said all her friends are gay – but she’s not for gay marriage – what a fraud!

  40. Jeff Laun says:

You were my favorite player in all the apprentice series. My wife and I have taken the show off of our Tivo after the way you were treated in the show.

    You rock!

  41. msroncon says:

Joan met 4 out of the 5 criteria to win. Annie met 3 out of the 5, Joan wins.

  42. Oh give us a break says:

Her acting like a maniac wasn’t acting. It’s a shame so many feel that she was acting when she threw all those fits in the show.
I feel pity for the people who think it’s ok for Annie to wish dead and such hate on someone constantly. That much anger isn’t good for a person. Perhaps some of you should think before following someone blindly.

  43. Erica says:

I had enjoyed watching the business aspect of “Apprentice” these past seasons. I won’t watch again. I was sickened by the River’s actions and Trump’s ego thinking the viewing public wasn’t bright enough to know what he planned to do in the end. His “firing” instead of “hiring” at the end was as if to dare us NOT to call him on it. I knew what the end would be, when he allowed that sow to return. Sunday I kept the mute on while reading to see how river’s would react to her “hiring”. I’m not fibbing, I felt like vomiting.
Annie, you’re ACE’S and a winner in my book. You proudly represent your charity. Even though I and my daughter are being forclosed on our home, I shall donate a dollar to your charity. My God bless us in the future and I will make larger donation in the future.
God bless you Annie, your children, and your friends.

  44. George says:

    I still can’t believe this.
    Greatest upset of all time.
    So… INSANELY unfair and ridiculous.

  45. RJS Bhatia says:

I have watched this show season after season, and I do not think i will watch it ever again. Any place where talent wins over whatever ( i don’t even know, joan rivers is not even a celeb, for gods sake, stop being a kiss ass) is no place for me to waste my time.

    This blows.

  46. Jen says:

You were the WINNER! I’ll never watch this show again, but I wanted to say Joan and Melissa were sickening. Granted, you have an ego, but hey, in business…you need to be assertive and take charge. Im also glad you didnt stoop to their levels, you were professional and they were crap, including DT.
    Best of Luck!

  47. The death comment says:

Zeppy, yknow when Annie was under stress she wished Joan to die. So why is she backed up for that comment when it’s not ok for people to say bad things about her? You talk about stress, Annie didn’t have to treat Tom the way she did when she was stressed out.

  48. Big Earn says:

I don’t know why Annie didn’t point out that Joan Quit. I would have pushed that subject every 5 seconds to get the win. Joan clearly stated she would quit if melissa got fired and she did.

  49. NoLongerWatchingApprentice says:

i’m an eighteen year old guy and i’ve never followed t poker avidly but i had heard of you and Howard Lederer and some players like Phil Helmuth. Ofcourse i’v known of Joan Rivers and the likes of Rodman etc.

The last half of this show was truly disgusting to watch. I’m truly at a loss for words how despicable Joan Rivers and her daughter acted. Even my mother who also watched this show liked Joan before but now genuinely cant stand her. Editing tricks for drama only go so far. Joan acted like a complete bitch along with Melissa who i feel at least a little pity for having Joan as a mother. Not only was she a bitch but also was INCREDIBLY inconsistent in her hate/love(veiled hate) for you.

I personally dont give a crap if you lied to win but coming from a circle of friends who all watched the show you were remarkably truthful. Dont get me wrong your spin definitely there but at the same time SO IS EVERYONE ELSES.

Really this is far less eloquent than i wanted it to be but after having just seen the ending i’m pretty pissed.

Having been in a cordial business like settings i’m well aware of what kind of behavior crosses the line. You consistently stayed quiet and cordial in every freaking boardroom(God knows i couldnt have done it.. there would be one cold cocked geezer dead on the floor). Joan attacked you your friends and lots of regular Americans in her sociopathic tantrums. THen she would also go back lie BLATANTLY saying she was ok with you.

I’m sincerely hate surfing the net and being referred to as just a sore loser. Why did Donald Trump allow Joan to talk over HIM/YOU/EVERYONE every freaking time. It was incrediblt biased or perhaps this is one big joke i’m not in on… we all let the geriatric self-serving hypocrite make an ass of herself then let her win so people dont actually examine what a cunt she was.

You more than tripled her total in fundraising, arguably the most crucial aspect, and were shunted off by the excuse of 5 arbitrary categories.

I cant find a logical explanation for why she even lasted(not to mention she walked out) as long as she did.

AAnd as for all of the nay-sayers who apparently DIDNT watch the show Joan repeatedly calls Annie Hitler AFTER initially comparing her to hitler.

I can only think that all of Joans fanboys/girls did not actually watch the show and simply think “Oh Joan Rivers what a doll” when checking out the finally. Annie you were no more manipulative than any person working towards their own goal but you didnt even lie to get to it.

Trump has lost all credibility in my book. He’s made decisions i haven’t like before but the difference is this one was just bad.

I really don’t want to spend anymore time staying astronomically pissed of at this so ill cut it short here. Annie this was some serious bs pulled on you but don’t worry buy the DVD set and you have proof of your innocence and Joans senility.

P.S. Annie me and meh buddies think ur really hawt there is no way u have had 4 kids.

Jesus…can’t I just get a french kiss or something?

Seriously tho..I’ve been stacking the ballot boxes over at NBC for you Queen Bee! Dissing the guy with the strange hair..insulting the insult comedienne..and scolding her dog Melissa…trumping the Trumpophiles…and just generally saying sweet things about you and annoying the hell out of the moderators. It’s obvious from the comments here and at NBC that you need my support…I’m here for you. You can count on me!

Yes I’m joking..don’t get scared. Psssst..(you’re cute as hell)
