So, I think I mentioned that Joe and I had gone to dinner with the gays from room 702 right before the Apprentice Finale. Matthew Garber and friends (Jesse, Wayne and Rebecca) created quite a stir during the Hotel Challenge on Celebrity Apprentice and gave me a wonderful respite from the infighting and squabbling on the show. Who knew doing room service could be so much fun? I still, to this day, count that as my favorite challenge on the show…pretty much all due to the gays in room 702. I love those guys (and Rebecca!) and was so excited when Jesse Archer and I found each other online so we could reconnect.
Jesse, because that guy is clever, arranged for us all to meet at a restaurant called…ROOM SERVICE. Of course, I am so daft that I didn’t even get the joke till Joe pointed it out to me. I can’t believe I am so obtuse that I didn’t get such a clever move. Yummy food and while we were eating Matthew mentioned that he does make up for a living (and he and Wayne do Bikram every day…I knew I liked those guys!) Anyway, Matthew offered to do my make up for the Celebrity Apprentice finale…so he practiced on me on the day before then did an amazing job on my make up the day of. Not only that, he also rescued me from a dress disaster but that is a whole other story!
Anyway, here is the video of Matthew Garber doing a test run on my make up. You can have him do your make up too if you just stop by Bergdorf’s in New York…

Does Matthew travel?? lol Loved your makeup at the finale
Great video — glad you were able to get something positive out of that experience!
What fun getting to know people!
I’m sure you two-faced and manipulated him into doing your make-up.
I wonder how many friends Joan made while filming the apprentice?
Be careful Annie, those new friends of yours might be in the mafia! I mean, you really don’t know for sure, right?
Lol.. I can’t believe you put a video of you without makeup on the internet.. I think I’d die first
Very brave. I wish I knew how to do mine better too!
Sometimes it’s kind of sad reading through your blog comments because some people are so mean to you! I can’t believe how much venom they have.. Well I hope you’re feeling bad about them and if you do.. read all those comments from people who support you!
I’m an electrical engineer turned stay at home mom turned artist (who works from home) and I LOVE poker so I take offence at people who call poker players white trash. It’s a great intelligent game and I just play for fun not for money
(Although I have played for fake money but that’s another story!)
Take care and ignore all the nasty comments!!
Rebecca, You are one mean bitch. You must lead a sad, pathetic life.
Annie,
Glad to see that you are not only staying positive but using the experience to continue doing good. I appreciate your sense of humor, your openness to people and your great competitive spirit!
Going back to Rebecca’s coments, I think those were not really directed to Annie just making reference and fun at those attacks done by Joan.
Not as pathetic as yours I’m sure Katie Gill. It’s sad that so many people share the same snary bitter attitude as Annie.
