+More videos and random thoughts on Twitter
Yesterday on Twitter I tweeted “Heading out to another meeting because when I was little I thought to myself, “When I grow up I want to be in meetings all day!” I got a lot of hilarious responses to that tweet but this video was the best one so I wanted to share it here:
So true! So true!
Also from Twitter yesterday, courtesy of James Gunn, is this awesome video called The Fairy Tale Police:
I seriously love Twitter. It is such a great time suck. I have been pointed to so many great videos and links through Twitter that I would have never seen otherwise awesomely increasing the amount of time I spend screwing around on the net instead of actually doing anything vaguely productive. Still trying to decide whether that is a good thing or a bad thing.

that was real nice.
Hopefully, you’ll decide that it’s good, because you’ll use it for good, etc. etc. ya da ya da ô¿~
Repeating your appreciation for video number one
has helped me appreciate the video a little more … it certainly fits in with the theme … “We’ve Met Our Children And They’re Us” … now … I’ve included it in “Becoming Quite The Story” And It Certainly Is
http://socoolbob.wordpress.com/2009/05/12/240/
I’m thinking you can certainly be one of the champions, along with millions of others, for the benefits of “social networking” … using these tools to do “goode” things.
It can certainly be a “part” of your “popularity” …
As for me.
I’m EXTREMELY APPRECIATIVE
Right now, I’m multi-tasking
1) The Indianapolis 500
2) Video production / editing a video looking for work and partially intended for YOU / Annie Duke
3) This message to YOU and your fans, readers, etc., and mine
4) making sure my software is prepared to take advantage of whatever Sunday Poker might be in store today, including at UB ô¿~
5) Whatever else comes up …
And it’s not even 11am.
Have A Great Day! Month! And Year!
While We “Socialize”

What I like about the internet, in addition to the 24/7 educational aspect which beats going to class, taking notes and tests plus paying tuition, is that it allows me to check in with some of my friends who are living other experiences…I get to vicariously explore worlds they have found and/or create…I love stepping into your world from time to time to see what I missed along the way (Poker was one of the things but I am making up for lost time!)-You have a spontaneous spark that never dims and a generous spirit that never stops giving. You invite us all into your world and I want to thank you for that….I wish I could get to LV for the ‘up the Rivers ‘tournament it will be hilarious!…I love the FTP and never would have found the time or made the time to find the video but because it is on your website and I admire and respect you I looked at it and it made me smile…Life is great and you help make it better! Way to go Annie…ps I think Joe did a great open for L&O!
Hey Annie,
Of topic here, but I would like to hear your take on Ann Coulter’s views on single moms in her latest book. I am sure if you were to face her, you would put her in to complete silence and utter shame. I know you are a wonderful mom with great kids, and that you are a very smart person. Ann Coulter’s views are basically inflammatory in regards to how single moms are the reason for criminals in our society, due to not raising our kids in a nuclear family. Also that single moms have destroyed the nuclear setting. Such arrogance! Anyway, take care and best wishes.
Very funny, Annie!
