My Final Celebrity Apprentice Blog

Well, I have spent the last couple of days trying to figure out what I was going to say about the finale. But it turns out that you all have said it so much better than I ever could through the outpouring of comments on this website. Pretty much every thought in my head has been said with amazing passion and eloquence by all of you and I would never try to top that. Thank you! The only thing I can really add to what you have already said is that I wish Trump had polled more of the contestants who had made it very deep in the competition, like Jesse, about who they would pick as the winner.

My biggest regret about the finale is that the show never actually showed my whole space during the charity auction. When Trump delivered the task to us I understood we were doing a high end auction to raise money for charity, in my case Refugees International.  To that end, I integrated the charity into my decor so that about 60% of the decor was devoted to that. When my guests walked in the room not only did they have no doubt what charity they were donating too but they also could educate themselves about RI though the videos, pamphlets and posters around the room.  This was a high priority for me in producing the event and I won the charity integration part of the challenge with practically no contest. I think they made the choice not to show the whole room because the show tried to paint me as the black hat in the competition. I regret that the wide shot of my space didn’t make the edit because I believe the images of refugees throughout the space would have been a powerful platform for RI and I think that was a huge lost opportunity for them.

With the help of Elaine Martyn and Ken Bacon from RI, I created these 3 by 5 foot double sided poster boards that hung from the ceiling in the room and they never really showed this on TV. I was really proud of those boards and happy to find out last week that Elaine and Ken had rescued them after the auction (the contestants were shooed out). When I went to the Italian Embassy in DC last week for the Refugees International 30th anniversary gala, those boards were hanging from the ceiling as part of the decor of the event! I was stunned and completely taken aback.

I also had the video of Darfuri refugees playing on many of the Kodak frames placed throughout the room. I am hoping that anyone who cares enough to read this blog will watch this video so you can see why I am so passionate about the refugee issue.

I also want to thank everyone who came out and donated over the course of the show. Erik Seidel, Shelly Maxwell, Scott Ian, Andy Bloch, Perry Friedman, Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, Ray Bitar, Beth Shak, John Hennigan, Nick Schulman, Erik Brooks, Rafe Furst, Kim Scheinberg, Mori Eskandani, Todd Rubenstein, John Moonves, Cliff Josephy, Mark Kron, Mike Murray, Tracy Scala and the inimitable Phil Hellmuth. (If I left anyone out I really apologize). Just as important as donations are the people who helped me out during the show to put the event together. Tony Luisi, Yshai Simkhai, Sara Csillag and Mark Birnbaum deserve a HUGE thank you for coming to the rescue when disaster struck.

I also want to thank the people who generously donated some incredible auction items for the finale so that my donors would have some cool stuff to buy: Matt Damon, Ray Romano, Brad Garrett, Hulk Hogan, Pamela Anderson, Perez Hilton, Thomas Lennon, Natalie Gulbis, Judith Ripka, Arik Kissling, Mark Birnbaum (again!), Sen. Al D’Amato, Rep. Robert Wexler and Herschel Walker. Auction items were a judging criteria that didn’t get discussed in the finale so these guys never got their due. Thank you!

My Apprentice experience was almost completely a positive one. During the course of the show I, with the help of the poker community, raised over $700K for amazing charities. I made some incredible friends, not just with some of the other contestants (Brande, Herschel, Jesse and Natalie) but also with some of the producers who worked tirelessly putting up with me for weeks on end! I think, most importantly though, my faith in the poker community, my second family, was completely affirmed. This community stepped up in such a huge and selfless and giving way. Poker players deserve the biggest shout out of all.

The more information that comes out, the more I feel, as a viewer, that my family and I were used just for the ratings. Annie clearly, by any other known standards, was the winner. It seems we all got the cold deck on this one. Never again – will I watch CA.

  2. Shahira says:

Trump s u c k s. This was the worse finale in TV history. I’m sorry to see that Annie & other respectable people got caught up in his cr a p & got publicly humiliated. What goes around . . . I can’t wait for his turn!

  3. Safi says:

    You Won 100 %
    You are better in everything
The only thing you miss was rising your voice more than her. Maybe you respict old people but you shouldn’t respict her.
I’m from middle east and we all with you.

  4. Haleema says:

    Annie you sure won
I enjoyed the show because of your attitude playing the game
Joan was mean, spiteful, and a big mouth she did not deserve to even get that far-she would have been fired from any job
plus I think she won because her charity is in New York and yours is international-no one especially Trump wants to put money internationally-keep up the great work you are a winner in all aspects
    with admiration

I just finished watching the show and I am so disgusted. My boyfriend and I enjoyed watching you all season Annie. We love you!!! You were obviously, clearly and undoubtedly the best player. We have vowed never to watch Celebrity Apprentice again. We still can’t believe that Trump ignored the fact that the designers quit because of Joan. Are they idiots or did they not see the same footage we saw? It irritated us how it seemed like the show tried to paint you in a bad light and make Joan seem like some great woman just because she has stamina at 76. So what!! All she has is a cruel streak, loud mouth and no manners.

  6. Sharon says:

I was very disappointed with the outcome, but not surprised. Trump has to placate his NY friends and entertainment celebrities. Long after this show is over, he has to rely on their support and their community. Shame on Trump. I lost a lot of respect for him.
I have been a long term fan of Annie. I best remember her in the Poker tournament where she took out her brother, and then out-psyched Phil Hellmuth. Her interchanges with Phil were epic. I am impressed that Phil supported her during the Apprentice. That shows how well she is respected. She can play an opponent like Phil under the table, and he remains a supporter.
And, oh yes, Poker is a skill game. My father has a PhD in mathematics, and plays both Poker and Blackjack. He taught me both, including the mathematical statistics. It is definitely a “business” to him, something he really enjoys. Joan’s remarks were ignorant.
Good luck to you Annie. Be proud. You are a real role model.

  7. John d. says:

I can’t believe Joan and Melissa are still trying to milk Annie for publicity. Look, kids, you rode as far as you could go on Annie’s coattails, that door’s closed now, get a new schtick. Mr. Burnett, melissa is already crying that nobody will hire her unless Annue comes too, socan’t wait to see the new show. What are they gonna do stand around and cry and blame Annie for ruining their show by not coming on?

  8. Roz says:

CONGRATULATIONS! You were outstanding. The most powerful, respectful, professional, masterful and admirable player by far. I can not respect DT for allowing Joan to say such despicable things, she should have been fired on the spot! You make me proud to be a mother and a woman!

    You truely are the winner

  9. Jason R says:

For the love of Pete! We’re a few day behind on our season finales out here in Iraq but I just saw the outcome last night. For weeks I’ve been 100% surprised that Trump didn’t take out Joan just based on the incredibly rude and outright slanderous behavior she exhibited in the boardroom and in the game. Where you, Annie, were so professional and took the hateful comments in the most professional way I could ever imagine. I lost what tiny iota of respect I had for Joan/Melissa and, even though some of their rants may be there for the editing, it is still not right what they were allowed to get away with! I had you pegged as the winner of the show since about week 5 and for Trump to pick Joan over you, it had to be because he respected her age because it sure as hell wasn’t based on the amazing jobs that you did THROUGHOUT the show. Ugh, I was just sickened by her outright rudeness!

Keep up the great work you are doing for Refugees. I’ll be sending my donation their way soon!

  10. Innovation Apprentice says:

    Annie,

That is a huge amount of money for a single charity! You, your Apprentice team, and the poker community should be very happy. You don’t always get the credit with subjective measures, but money is what counts most, or at least is the easiest to count even if you’re counting up to $700K.

    Well done.

Will there be another poker player next season?

  11. GR says:

Annie, you wrote a kick a** jingle for chicken of the sea.

  12. Cynthia says:

I loved you and have a lot of respect for you. I apoligze for what happened to you. I would love to work with you any day of the week. Your amazing! Put this behind you and move forward.
    God Bless!

  13. Lindavzisme says:

You are amazing that you did so much! Yes Refugees won 700k but they should have gotten the other 250 for you being the winner. You were the best by FAR and I was a big supporter of yours from the beginning. I was so disgusted with CA that shared my negative comments on the CA blogs, Joan Rivers blogs and sent email to GLWD for ‘accepting’ the money from Joan with how she treated you. Joan owes you a huge apology.

  14. Anne says:

    Annie:

I am a long time fan and look up to you for many reasons! I am a poker player and only hope to become as good and successful as you. I was so happy to see that you were on Celebrity Apprentice. But now after it all has come to an end I am so upset! Joan Rivers and Melissa are such ignorant people and they made a fool out of themselves. They have no idea how big the poker world is now and how many millions of good, honest people play poker for fun or for a living. It makes me incredibly upset at how Joan attacked you and the poker community.

I love how she made the comment on Larry King Live and on the show that no one knew who you were before this – uh no way! You are one of the most popular poker players on this planet!

The whole thing just makes me so mad and I hope that you know a ton of people think you are an amazing woman and that the final decision by Trump was simply for ratings.

  15. Panayioti Hatzimihail says:

First of all, just want to say congratulations to Annie. You’ve done an amazing job, and as you said, your friends came through for you and supported you throughout the WHOLE show – it just goes to show that TV makes what they want out of people, and unfortunately, you were on the bad end of the stick.

Joan Rivers was elected the Celebrity Apprentice out of pity – she did NO WHERE NEAR the amount of work, money pooling and satisfaction that Annie pulled off. If they go through each and every episode and event, Annie did so much better, and that should have made the decision clear for Donald Trump.

The amount of negative comments targeted at Annie from Joan Rivers and her daughter, Melissa, was extremely unprofessional, yet, Donal Trump picked on Annie for saying that she wanted Joan to die. I mean, come on, really? Being called Hitler, saying you and your friends a more than white trash, and the insults dished day in and out for so many episodes don’t comprehend to what Annie said in the final episode – that should have not even been stated by Trump; what a ridiculous call.

And on that note, when Annie continually tried to explain herself about the fact that Joan made the event planner quit was unfair. Annie explained, more than once, that what she said is what she heard – and that was the truth for anyone who had their eyes open during the scene where herself and Brandi went to the event planner’s location. What a bunch of morons to think she was “lying”. In no way was she lying, and it was pathetic for Joan to, yet again, defend herself by picking on Annie. It was clearly Joan’s fault.

Annie not only played the game well, but she was direct, and never personal. Joan cried & shook her head every time Donal Trump asked her to make a decision about who he should fire; is that good leadership? If someone is doing a pathetic job in your workplace, do you simply look the other way because you don’t want to make them feel bad? Joan honestly doesn’t know how things work in a business prospective – thank God she’s a celebrity who can hire someone else to do that for her. Annie worked, and continued to stand strong for her celebrity marketing – she didn’t get there by making jokes, she got there out of pure workmanship, and it was horrible to see her fall because Joan made her seem like a bitch of a person.

Annie, your support from your friends & also fans throughout the whole Celebrity Apprentice rules out all of those pathetic slanders Rivers said.

Good work on CA, and I’m sure you’ll continue to do great, for yourself, and for your charity.

  16. Kenneth says:

Annie, you are a very smart lady. You and Joan had some low points on the show. However, knowing the work that has to get done and feeling the work are two different things. If you don’t want to be viewed as insensitive, have a “man in the mirror” moment. You know you better than anyone. All the support from folks that may agree with your point of view does not change what you know about yourself. Usually, when we here poor assessments about ourselves……we have heard them before. You are very smart and have some excellent qualities, however you can improve on learning some humility and that life is not a poker game where the weak gets squashed. Even if that is part of life. In short, we can improve the perception others have of us if we want. Change does not equate to weakness. Sometimes it simply shows growth. Take care.

  17. Royce says:

I didn’t read all the comments, but I agree with most of them that you were robbed in the most painful manner on national television. I was honestly in pain watching the final outcome, when Joan was picked the winner I restrained myself from throwing things!

Me and my friends went in watching Celebrity Apprentice not knowing who you were, but came out in the end with the greatest respect for you. So there you have it, you have earnt respect and fans from total strangers who have never heard of you.

You wrote a kiss ass jingle (as opposed to Joan’s cluck cluck cluck splash, like wtf), you cooked a kiss ass Turkey Meatball and Chilli which I now had the pleasure of tasting with your recipes, and you raised the most money ever in Apprentice history.

After being a follower of the Apprentice from Season 1, my only other sad regret I have is that I lost all my respect for Trump in the process of all this.

Here’s to you Annie. You are a great person, and I will follow you to the end of the world.

  18. I wasn’t shocked the Trump picked Joan; it was obvious with everything he let her get away with throughout the season. I WAS, however, saddened and even posted about it on Facebook: I won’t be watching “Celebrity Apprentice” next season; I have little respect for Donald Trump and now even less. Annie Duke played better, brought in more money (always criteria each season), and won more challenges. Used to like Joan Rivers, but not after seeing her in action. I’m certain she couldn’t bring in big bucks due to all the bridges she burned over the years.

Annie, you are head and shoulders above Joan Rivers. Be proud (I know you are). Without sounding too mean, I assume the Trumpster thought he better give it to Joan; she might not be around that much longer. The mafia may be after her. :-)

  19. Eddie G says:

Don’t think for one minute that just because the show has been off for a week that we (the wise people of America) have forgotten what transpired last Sunday. Annie is great and Joan sucks! Donald is a fool and it’s true, I will NEVER watch that sorry ass show again!

  20. grace says:

You were obviously the winner and you did it with class. I really think that DT was friends with Joan before. I think that’s why she got away with so much throughout the show. It is a shame that they used you in such a way for their own personal motives. I feel as though you, me and the rest of the viewing audience have been raped in some manner and I will never watch that show again.

Keep your head up Annnie and be proud. You have every reason to be proud. You were very classy and very kind. But this is their world. Let the wicked have their day. We both know their final outcome.

  21. Ping says:

Annie rocks! you are smart, tough(sometimes maybe too tough lol), you did a great job, you should have won.
    I m from China,and I m with you.

  22. JB says:

HE WHO EXHAULTS HIMSELF WILL BE HUMBLED AND HE WHO IS HUMBLE WILL BE EXHAULTED.

WHAT AN ARROGANT, SELF EXHAULTING, TWO FACE. NO ONE IS BETTER THAN ME!! WAKE UP HONEY, YOU LOST. THERE IS MORE TO THIS WORLD THAN RAISING MONEY. GO READ YOU BIBLE, THAT IS IF YOU EVEN OWN ONE. MAYBE THAT WILL POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

  23. Natalie Leveille says:

I sent another message to you just now, but holy crap, woman, you are AWSOME!!!

No disrespect to Joan – she is a brilliant woman who obviously approaches things from her heart. I didn’t like her nasty attacks, but I think some people are emotionally-driven and sometimes they can stop seeing the facts for what they really are.

You played brilliantly with integrity, dignity and class. You were an incredible driving-force throughout the show. I was truly inspired. Well done.

  24. grace says:

Did anyone notice how Joan knew that Annie said she wished Joan would die. Trump obviously watched the tape, even though he acted like he didn’t know anything about Joan making the event planner quit (liar). But how did Joan know? The two of them were in cohorts from the beginning.

I know this all happened last week. But I just can’t get any peace about it. It was so unfair.

  25. Eric M. says:

What a disappointment. A show that can’t play by it’s own rules. Why Trump and the producers catered so much to the Rivers is beyond me. Melissa and Joans behavior should have got them both fired long ago. Spoiled children is how I would describe their behavior. This is no different than Jeff Probst telling a contestant who just got voted off Survivor, “ Go on back to camp and tell’em I said it was OK”, or Alex Trebek saying, “No, that’s not it, but would you like to take a second guess?”

The show couldn’t even be edited in a manor that slightly supported Trump or Rivers. I’m not a fan of Annie or Rivers, but of the show, and this has caused me to lose interest entirely. Deleted from my TiVo, this has been the last episode of CA for me.

Annie, I feel for you, you played about as professional a game as you could have under the circumstances. I’m sure there were many times you would have liked to walk off (as the Rivers did), but you stuck it out. Remember, you’ll always have this …. you beat Clint Black in a jingle writing contest!

  26. Gracie says:

    Annie,
I commend you for your work with Refugees International. You did some excellent work on the Apprentice. That being said, you were not at your best during the final project. Although you may have raised the most money, there were other criteria as well where Joan excelled. Not that I ever thought I would support Tom Green, but he actually made some perceptive comments in the final episode.

  27. dan says:

    Annie,
You’re a sore loser. You lost because you dont know how to treat people.

  28. Mark says:

    Just to add some levity:

You sure Joan wasn’t dissing “Polka” Players … I mean those accordian musicians how annoying!LOL

PS Hey Melissa your mom won so why the long face?

  29. irene says:

Annie- you were the best player; after seeing the show i will turn the tv off if i see joan rivers or her daughter ever again; now i know why things happened in her life the way they did, i am talking about her poor husband- god rest his soul; it might be harsh words but joan rivers is undoubtedly the lowest piece of trash i have seen in a long time- i don’t remember the last time i was so outraged watching tv, trump had his reasons why he chose that bitch over you

  30. Shirley Tolsdorf says:

Still in shock at what went down on the finale. Needless to say CA will no longer be watched in this home. Never did like Joan Rivers & now like her even less. As far as her daughter is concerned…..so ugly. If she hasn’t had plastic surgery she should. The ugliness probably stems tho’ from her mean personality….as does Joan River’s. Didn’t DT see any of the filming? How could he ignore what went on with those two. So sad. His loss. I’m sure the next CA will be his last as no one will be watching.

  31. Jackie R says:

    Annie,

I have been an Apprentice fan for years. After this year’s Apprentice, I have come to three conclusions:
    1. You were robbed
    2. The outcome was rigged
    3. Joan is a horribly mean-spirited person

As a result, I have lost respect for DT/JR and gained a whole lot of respect for you. Best wishes.

I also thought the comments to Jessee about his wife were inappropriate.

Can you send me your chilli recipe?

  32. Margaret says:

It was so obvious, from Trump’s comments, that he is prejudiced against poker – what he considers gambling. For that reason, and that alone, the cards were stacked against Annie right from the get-go . . . but he had no reason to ever fire her during the game. It was so obvious he kept Joan on just to have her continue her nasty. hateful tirade against Annie. It was purely to ‘up’ the ratings.
I, too, have lost all respect for the Donald – and my husband and I will never watch his show again. Are you listening, NBC???

  33. Larry says:

Trump used you to make the “worn out” Joan Rivers a viable cable TV personality. He created a conflict as used in professional wrestling. I will never watch his show again as it fixed. For sure I am tired of viewing his “pencil necked” goofy son. He must have “Brylcream” smeared all into his black hair (odd that his sister’s is so blond)!! It is humorous to watch this son trying to pretent that he is an executive with all the answers. You must have been laughing to yourself as this goofball strutted around as the “bigshot” in charge. Too bad that you did not ask Trump or his siblings how things were going with their Mexico resort holding, that they bailed on, leaving the investors to loose all.

  34. PhantomOpera says:

Well…I didn’t watch the final show and looks like I wouldn’t- I happen to get the results and I’m not going to waste any time on this c*ap in the future. It looks like it was an alternative ending of “The Lord of the Rings” – goblins win;) Needless to say that this episode is the final touch on the downhill journey of the “Apprentice” show at least in terms of taste, class and common sense. I just found out what a lot of folks used to tell me before- D. Trump is a pompous, corrupt and tasteless bull. Also, it looks like he is not as brave as he might think he is. Was it REALLY necessary for the business to point that venomous relict as a winner? I don’t think so. Even more- I don’t think that it was his decision to make;)
Annie, you are the Winner anyway. Everybody know that:))

  35. Michael Ma says:

Just because Joan is Jewish and a comedian doesn’t give her the right to downplay what Hilter did, or joke about the severity of the events of the Holocaust.

I think the mistake that Annie made was admit she lost the final task immediately when she was asked about winning 2 out of the 5 criterias. She could have easily said, “I do not consider this a loss at all. Because it was about raising money for charity. And I blew Joan away. It wasn’t even close.” And appealed to the business side of Trump. Maybe given him the analogy that would Trump still consider that Joan the winner if Annie brought in $301k, and Joan broght in $1k but Joan managed to win 4 out of the 5 criterias? Absolutely not.

Either way, Annie walked away raising more money for charity than Joan did with the money she raised plus the $250k she won.

  36. Michael Ma says:

Another thing that needs to be pointed out is that vice chair of Joan’s charity is Blaine Trump! Trump’s sister in law.

    What a joke.

  37. Michael Ma says:

Oh, by the way, the Chicken of the Sea jingle was stuck in my head for days. I thought I may need some brain shock therapy to get it out of my head but it eventually went away. That’s one powerful jingle. It would be a mistake of the tuna people not to use it.

  38. Paxlie says:

Annie, I was disgusted with the fact that Joan got away with matching you with Hitler. The fact Trump even made her the Apprentice is just plain wrong.

You were the best by far and I enjoyed watching you kill Joan in every challenge. You raised so much more money than Joan that it shouldn’t even matter that she 3 of the 5 challenges won. Apart from that you kicked her (and everyone else’s) ass the entire season.

You’ve made me a fan of you outside of the poker tables. :)

  39. Diane and Bibi says:

Dear Annie, I hope you got my mail I just sent. all I have to say is we will never look at the trump show again, we cannot believe that rivers won, it is not possible, she only won because trunp is friends with her because she should have been out that door a long long time ago. You are the winner no matter what, we love you and keep it up girl. Love Diane and Bibi in Florida

  40. Janna Thurston says:

Annie, I still don’t know exactly what to say because I get so incredibly worked up just thinking about the whole show!!!!! As SOON as it was over, I told my son that I had lost any respect I had for Trump and that I will never watch CA again! And I won’t! What a total farce! The absolute freaking nerve of that old bat to say all the horrible things she said and then turn around and say that she played the game with honor! Seriously? She makes her living by putting people down! Oh yeah, real honorable. She’s a gem! Hey, and just cause she has energy doesn’t make her the winner! Oh….my….I was so very very very angry!! I wanted to pick up my tv and throw it across the room! I thought you were great, did a great job! I so would NOT have lasted against Oldzilla and her spawn! Not because they were better but because I would have been carted off by men with handcuffs and weapons! Ok, I’ll try to stop spouting off here! Congratulations on REALLY winning! And trust me, everyone knows you did! What an awesome amount of money you raised! And what TRUE friends you have in your life! Way to go Annie! (shout out to Brande as well, for kickin that dumb blonde thing in the rumpola!) hahaha
    Ciao

  41. If Joan Rivers feels that way about you why is she one of your followers on twitter ? I’m sorry but I have to say that is crazy behavior.

  42. Don B says:

Annie You are a winner on many levels.

  43. Diana M. says:

    Annie,
First I just want to say that you played an amazing game! You truly showed professionalism and character even after repeated attacks and her disgusting behavior. Sad to see that Mr. Trump made such a bad choice – I think the most important part of the task was the amount of money raised for the charities – to say that it was only 1/5 of the final “score” was ridiculous. You creamed her and beat her by more than any other task in previous years. Really enjoyed watching you this year… Good luck with your future charity work.

  44. lulu mycucci says:

Annie – you won. From Cupcakes to Gluten Free Turkey meatballs and you had me at jingle. Good job and thanks for inspiring me.

  45. Minny says:

Ok Annie I saw on Twitter that you “cleaned” up your comments. I understand you taking off the inappropriate ones but I do not agree with taking off all that do not agree with you. You are only representing exactly what Joan says you are by only allowing the good and agreeable fans.
And truly I believe that you raised alot of money and done great with the charity. But I have a couple of issues with you one of which is why could you not choose an American charity? We in our own country have starving children and families. Why did you do nothing to help those people? And lastly, you know you done everything you could to make it hard on Melissa. Even though we may not like her b/c she whines and is a mamas girl. But you shared that same opinion and you used it against her. But in the board room you wanted to look like the saint when all along you knew you couldn’t stand either one of them just like we couldn’t.
I do not agree with everything Joan and Melissa has said about you. But I also do not agree with everything you have done as well. I wish you all the best of luck Annie.

  46. tonya says:

I think this show brought out the worst in everybody. Unfortunately from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. There are some really dark hearts living under the guise of “celebrity”. Nothng is worth lying cheating and coniving for. I feel sorry for all of you.

  47. Mandy says:

    Annie,
    I don’t like you.

  48. Lb says:

Annie you definitley deserved to win, you raised the most money and you played the game better than any other contenstant on the show. I dont understand why so many people were cheering for joan during the finale. Throughout the whole season joan proved to be a very mean, and cold hearted person, i was so dissapointed that you lost the finale. I was also dissapointed in the other contenstants because they seemed to just stand idle while you were being visiously attacked be joan. They should of done more to stick up for you, atleast thats how i felt. Donald trump isnt a good person either he seemed to really revel in all the drama, and seemed to purposely antagonize both you and joan even more. Donald trump was the most evil out of anyone. Hey i think joan and mellissa only hate you because your beautiful and dont require any plastic surgey even at 45!! your hot annie..

  49. Vicki says:

I, too, was disgusted. I admit I was leaning Joan’s way once Jesse was fired. Mainly because Joan screamed loudly for so long “Annie is a liar”. At the beginning you seemed to play one player against the next & talked too much. But matured as time went by & the finale showed clearly who was the liar. You showed the restraint of a saint, frankly way more than Joan deserved or professionalism called for. I think do you could learn to listen more, talk less, start delegating small things, but mostly think before you speak so frankly. Two words: people skills. I can say this, because I used to be just like you. I am a single disabled mother that’s had to fight for everything in life. The older I get the more I realize it’s not just the loyal friends I collect over the years, but also the people I meet that I don’t even know their names. Obviously you’re a good person or you wouldn’t have so many people you can call on in times of need, but everybody that meets you should feel better for having meet you. (They said Lincoln had a way that when people walked away they felt they could have been president too. Now that’s people skills.) There will be exceptions to this rule, some people who don’t deserve your respect nor time. I think you can think of two off the top of your head, ha! I am not the type of person who likes to blog or waste my time commenting, but I get so outraged when I see an injustice. You should have won. I wish David would have just worked for you & put Joan to shame. But girl, you did fine in the clutch & Joan who supposedly had so much style & taste looked like a bad high school dance. You should walk away from this knowing feeling proud of yourself. You played a clean game.
