+There is nothing like Mikey to cheer up a girl who’s depressed
Well this past week at the WSOP has been a tough one on me, mainly because I am just having won of those weeks where I can’t get my hands to hold up and can’t hit my big draws. When that happens, especially in limit tournaments, you feel a little handcuffed to your cards and that is, frankly, depressing. Up until today I was really fine with it since I understand how variance works and I get when I am just sitting at the tails. But today I broke. After losing an ugly hand in the Omaha 8 or better to get knocked out then heading over to the mixed hold’em only to lose every pot there I just walked away really down. Luckily, I had recorded this Mike Matusow gem from the night before when we were at the same table in the Omaha event. It always cheers to up to realize I am not the most insane person I know
(As of this writing, Mikey is still in the event with 41 left. He is short but still grinding away. Better than I can say for myself for sure!)
So enjoy this new installment of the philosophical musings of Mike Matusow. I am beginning to think my life would not be complete without at least one of these a week.
Now that would have been a better title for the book: My Wrist Feels Like I Have Been Jacking Off for Three Hours.
Bahahahahahaha!!!!
LMAO – Yeah, good ol Mike can make anyone laugh. Sorry to hear of the rough week Annie. You are a trooper who NEVER gives up so don’t even think about it now. An amazing poker run can only start on a single day, it could very well be today!
Mike’s a seriously funny guy. ROFL!
hahahaha. funny
I am not sure if this is really funny or a horrible case of TMI
Ha! Mike is great. Gotta root for him.
mikey mikey mikey lmao
I was wondering what was going to make me smile about the video… I admit that it got a smile out of me. You rule, Annie
“It’s what I do.” Taken in context, that’s the funniest line in the whole thing.
