Annie feels privileged to play poker for a living, but her passion is to direct attention to those in desperate circumstances. She regularly offers a private poker lesson with herself as an auction item for charity auctions and has raised funds to benefit numerous charities. She is also involved in various charitable organizations such as Ante Up for Africa, Decision Education Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Refugees International, and many others.
AUFA aids hundreds of thousands of people uprooted by the Darfur crisis. Your support will fund vital relief efforts on the ground, raise awareness about the genocide, and offer long-lasting solutions to the crisis.Join Annie for the fourth annual Ante Up for Africa, No Limit Texas Hold-Em Tournament in association with the World Series of Poker. Proceeds from the event will once again go to charities that provide aid and assistance to the survivors of the crisis in Darfur, Sudan and support activism dedicated to resolving this crisis.
